Collaboration Zones

What do you do with unused space and a workforce suffering from meeting overload? If you’re Sanofi Pasteur Toronto you rethink and repurpose. As a way to introduce a new way of working and reduce meeting burnout I was tasked with creating collaborative work areas using unused or ill-used space on the Sanofi Pasteur campus. These areas were given a brand, a color palette and some fun environmental graphics. Each space was custom but all of them included ways to work collaboratively outside of a meeting room. After plenty of research; furniture, paint and carpet were sourced. The final step was education. A large scale infographic installation, digital ads and a printed hand out were designed to inform and excite. This project was touted to other campuses with discussion to expand this pilot project.
